Thanksgiving Point also has an awesome Dinosaur Museum.
The problem? They offer $2.00 Tuesdays, where you can get in for 2 bucks a person.
Usually, it's like... $18.00 or something ridiculous like that. 'Nuff said. It was a ZOO!
Our kids were a mess. Nevertheless... I tried to document our attempt to teach them about Prehistoric Life. Pshhh!

I'm sure if we hadn't been so cheap, we could've gone on a "Full-price Friday" and had a spiffy time. But, being the Frugal Fred and Fran we are... yeah. Whatever.
Dominic DID find some joy at the erosion table...
...but by the time we rounded the bend at the "fossil dig" (which was chock-full of screaming/crying children... some throwing sand, some with sand in their eyes) we were at a full sprint for the exit.

Dominic was so overwhelmed, he nearly walked straight into the jaws of DEATH. We talked him out of it... but it took some serious negotiation.
Haha! What an experience. Lesson learned. :)
P.S. The Museum is great. We? We're silly enough to expect to have a good time at an almost-free-for-all.
Good times, anyway. ;)

okay this made me laugh out loud because that was the worst experience. The museum really is great...when you can catch it not sooo crazy. I also have no pictures with any of you guys in it because we all were just trying ot get out of there!
