Thanksgiving 2011

The Table...
The Cooks...
The Food...
This is the first year I actually made a real turkey instead of being a cheater-pants and buying a "Turkey-in-a-Bag." I must say... it was definitely gross to prepare (although delicious to eat) and I was really sorry that I didn't research how to cook a turkey before the day before because I only bought it the day before and didn't know that it had to unthaw for... like... 4 days in the fridge! So... I had an early Thanksgiving morning date... me and turkey... in the kitchen sink... unthawing in water that I had to change every 30 minutes. Ugh. But the week of delicious leftovers that made fabulous tukey sandwiches smothered with mustard and mayo (my favorite perk about Thanksgiving) was soooo worth it. ;)
The Eaters...
I do look a bit tired...
The End. :)

Nana and Bumpa's Easter Visit

Nana and Bumpa made their yearly trek down here to AZ for Easter again!  Easter pictures are to come... but for now, here's some sweet pictures of the kiddoes with their grandparents.  :)

Damon often found his way into Bumpa's arms...

...where it was common for him to fall asleep.

It wouldn't be a visit from Nana if she didn't make her famous chocolate chip cookies with the boys!  Oh how I love those things!

Miss Eden made her way over too...
must've smelled that delicious aroma from two doors down.

Nana< delving out chocolate chips for eager tummies who just couldn't wait any longer...

Drewberry's first cookie.  At first he wasn't so sure...

But then... delish!

Nana really wanted a picture with her three boys, and we tried wholeheartedly, but...

...oh my goodness, they are boys!  We get an A for lots and lots of effort. :)
Love you Nana and Bumpa!

Take me out to the... front yard!

Have I mentioned my love affair that I have with our culdesac?  For real, I don't think we can ever, ever leave this place.  We live in the perfect spot.  Perfect for riding bikes, plasma cars, scooters, hopscotch, basketball, baseball... perfect.

Here's Dom, working on a grand slam...

Daddy is the best coach...

Look at that face!  Love his determination.

Damon tried his hand at bat...

Drewsie sat in the grass and wiggled his toes...

 ...oh such cute little toes!

Love these little men...

This may be one of my favorite pictures ever...

Soon enough, it will be baseball games at the field... not in the culdesac.
I need to soak in these sweet, lazy days!  And these sweet little boys, while they are still little.
