7 Months and Still Growing...

... here's our cherub. I keep telling him to slow down, but he's not listening. This little stinker just turned 7 months old! He got his first tooth a couple of weeks ago, he's been sitting up now for about a month, just had his "umpteenth" haircut this morning, he eats sweet potatoes and bananas (and hates rice cereal, oatmeal, and squash... so far), says "Mama", clucks his tounge, wears a big-boy tie to church, splashes in the bathtub, balks at bottles (still...to my dismay), laughs at Dominic, and is such a JOY. We love him to pieces.

He's still waking up once or twice at night. We tried letting him cry... the first night wasn't too awful (yes it was, but not compared to the 2nd night) and he only cried for 27 minutes.

The 2nd night? 3 hours. THREE! Not constantly, but 30 minutes of crying, 10-15 of sleeping, 30 of crying, 10-15 of sleeping... and it went on, and on... and on. Finally, we caved. I fed him, rocked him, and put him back to sleep. This one is stubborn. And, apparently, always hungry. Oh well. But no more "crying it out" for us. That stuff is for the birds.

He is soo cute! I love him to pieces! Sorry he isn't sleeping for you.. maybe crying it out isn't for him. Some babies just can't self soothe themselves.
GOOD LUCK! Love you

I so wished I blogged, I really have some stories you would love. Mia is just on fire! And life is crazy with t-ball and lost teeth and 3 dogs. I am still trying to get Miabella to take a pacifier at 7 months. Crazy I know, what mom in her right mind would try to make her 7 month old take a pacy? This one that can't get her stubborn little whirlwind to take a nap or self soothe. I am still her biggest comfort object. I love you and I should just call you soon when I have a moment. Just wait til it's your 3rd baby growing up this fast.
